ME-VID EVALUATION

I had to create a 3 minute me-vid that had to include photo and what are my hobbies and interest and what I do in my spear time. I also had to include a greenscreen shot of me filming.

Pre-Production Skills
I had to create a script for my med-vid and the shots that i had to film were 80 shots of what my hobbies and interest  are. I had to look at my script to see what shot I had to film I will definitely use a shooting script in future task as I feel it has helped me a lot. Although there are many things I have amended I still referred to the shooting script.

Production Skills
for my production skills I to film up to 80 shot in different location and I had different people in me me-vid video.for some of my shot i had to change because I was meant to film them outside because it was raining a lot to I change the location.

I also had to film a green screen shot that I filmed was me at the Golden Temple in India talking in Punjabi. For my me-vid video I added five photo of me the photos were going in age order my favorite music that I put on my me-vid were archive videos of  Will.i.am featuring Cody Wise its my birthday and the second music video that I add was California love by Doctor Dre featuring Tupac. The archive video that I used were from movies and TV programs they were Ted,Fast and Furious 6 .

Post-Production Skills
For my me-vid post-production skills I had to edit all of my shots on a program called Final Cut Express.I also used a program called Live Type to design my graphics for my finished me-vid video.

The skills learnt during me-vid

Using Final Cut Express was a bit hard at first but I got the hang of it and editing i found hard because it was on a different program that I never used before. The second program that I used was Live Type I found that easy to use to create graphics for my me-vid and I really enjoyed using theses two programs.

For my next project I would need to use Final Cut Express and Live Type I would need to ask for help how to use this program.

Me Vid Script

Media Workshop Evalutation

In my media edit workshop session I used a program called I Movie to edit my final media production. The camera techniques that I used was 180 degree rule and shot reverse shot  used match on action to put two pieces of media together to make it flow when shooting my video and I also used match on action to my video production.

The challenges that I faced during my production was filming one of my shots again because I did a shot reverse shot wrong so I had to re film it again and another thing was during my filming I had to film my whole media video production again because one of my characters in the video didn't have the same clothes when I filmed it first. I found the camera angles difficult to film. And the quality wasn't good so I had to film in a different area with more lighting to make the film better.

The challenges that I faced during my post production I found the clip trimming on imovie hard and I also found it hard to put the shots in the right order at looking at my storyboard to make sure I put the right shot in the right place.

The overall strengths of my work me and my person in my group  didn't  known where to film for our video production and what scene would go better for the shot

The overall weaknesses of my work was not keeping to the right time of the footage and for one of my shot I didn't film it probably and I found it hard to film it in the same location. Another weaknesses that I hard during filming was the props. And another weakness was not sticking with my storyboard on one of my shots and It took me whole lesson to film six shots I wasn't paying attention and I was wasting time and I didn't know what scene I was filming.

The overall improvements on my work I would add sound effects to make my video better and I will also film all of my shot taken more than one so I could choose which shot was better use and I would also make the video footage a little bit longer.
